Associate Director, S/4HANA Data Cleanse Enablement

In this role, you will orchestrate the planning, governance and delivery of data cleanse activities that make our S/4HANA implementation successful across the enterprise. You will connect teams from finance, manufacturing, quality, procurement and supply chain to build the standards, ownership model and execution rhythm that produce migration-ready, trusted data. Accountabilities:
You will lead theplanning, governance and delivery enablementfor enterprise data cleanse activities supporting theS/4HANAprogramme, ensuring data ismigration-ready, trusted and ownedacross key business domains.
- Define and drive the data cleanse strategyacross domains, including quality rules, ownership, acceptance criteria and wave-based execution.
- Establish and run programme governance: integrated plans, reporting, decision logs, budgets/forecasts, and stakeholder updates for governance forums.
- Own RAID and dependency management, ensuring risks and issues are surfaced early, resolved quickly and escalated appropriately.
- Manage scope, change and milestones, controlling impacts to cost, timeline and quality through agreed governance and approvals.
- Track benefits and outcomes, ensuring deliverables align to measurable business value and readiness criteria.
- Build and maintain dashboards and performance metrics, providing real-time insight and actionable reporting.
- Lead and develop delivery capability, coaching junior PMs and driving consistent adoption of tools, standards and ways of working.
- Drive continuous improvement, identifying and delivering initiatives that strengthen delivery rigor and accelerate cleanse readiness.
Essential Skills/Experience:
- Degree or equivalent professional experiencein business, technology, data, finance, engineering or a related field.
- Proven experience delivering projects and programmes in complex, matrixed organisations.
- 5+ years leading PMO / programme delivery disciplines(planning, reporting, governance) within large-scale transformation programmes (ERP, finance, supply chain, manufacturing or data).
- Proven ability to design and run “fit-for-purpose” delivery governance, including integrated plans, status reporting, RAID (risks, assumptions, issues, dependencies), decision logs, and governance cadences that enable fast, clear decision-making.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft tooling(MS Project, Excel, PowerPoint) and strong working knowledge ofSharePoint/Teams; ability to build clear insights throughPower BI(or equivalent dashboards/reporting tools).
- Strong programme and project management capability, with a track record of delivering outcomes on time, on budget and with transparent control of scope, risks and change.
- Solid understanding of financial management and benefits realisation, including budget tracking, forecasting, business case alignment and measurable value delivery.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, able to translate complex programme information into concise narratives for senior leaders and cross-functional teams.
- Strong commercial and organisational awareness, with the judgement to adapt approach to a dynamic environment while maintaining delivery rigor.
Desirable Skills/Experience:
- Experience delivering global programmesacross regions/time zones, with an understanding of local variation and how to drive consistency at enterprise scale.
- Formal project/programme qualifications(for examplePMP, PRINCE2, MSP, Agile), or equivalent experience demonstrating best-practice delivery leadership.
- Confident leadership presence with senior stakeholders, including facilitation of governance forums, influencing decision-making, and driving alignment across competing priorities.
